1. Acceptance

By using Dibby, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dibby. If you're between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your country), you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for:

You may sign up with either an email address or a phone number. You may link both to one account.

5. Money & Settlements

Important: Dibby is a tracking and communication tool. We do NOT process payments. Settlements you mark in the app are between you and the other person — Dibby has no involvement in actual money transfer.

If you have a dispute with another user about an expense or settlement, that's between you. We can provide a copy of the activity log if needed.

6. Content You Upload

When you upload receipt photos, group images, or other content, you grant Dibby a limited license to store and display that content within the app for the purpose of providing the service.

You retain all rights to your content. You can delete it at any time.

Dibby is provided "as is". We do our best to keep things working, but we don't guarantee:

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dibby's total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which is currently $0 for free users; capped at the subscription fee for paid users).

9. Modifications

We may update these terms. We'll notify you at least 30 days in advance of material changes via email or in-app.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period.

We can terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE FILLED] without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Disputes

Any disputes will be resolved by [arbitration / courts of jurisdiction]. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of accepting these terms.
